He probably took part in the race as a favorite. A few weeks ago, Timdon, who once claimed the world’s fastest Iron Man time (after 7:40:23 in Iron Man Brazil in 2017), withdrew from the Canadian Men / Women Xtri event and made a list of all Canada. Created One of the favorites of this year’s race – Defending Men’s Champion Sylvain La France, Winner of the first three editions of the race Jerome Bresson, Iron Man Specialist Antoine Jolicourt Des Roche, Defending Ultraman World Champion Jordan Briden. When both Lafrance and Bresson had to withdraw, it left as a logical man to monitor Jolicoeur Desroches and Bryden.
After all, there was no duel for victory – Jolicoeur Desroches was so dominant that day, so the only question of the day was how much he set a new course record. He was on the course so fast that officials continued to reach various checkpoints more than an hour faster than expected and were scrambling to catch up.
